This project was based on designing a digital thermometer tailored to a brand. The brand I chose was TROTEC. It was modelled within Solidworks where I had my first experience using mould flow analysis. Mould flow analysis is a helpful tool that allows me to view whether my design could easily be injection moulded. I had to run a number of flows to view different types of flow analysis which allowed me to view how to read the results and how it can help in future projects. Once all this was complete, the 3D model was imported into Keyshot where it was rendered to make it look realistic. This project was a good example of how i could use digital analysis tools in future projects.
